Deluxe prices back up at Wal-Mart
I don't know how chain-wide the price increase is, but one of the local Wal-Mart's had deluxe's back at $9.96 from the $7.77 price we've seen for months. If you're on the fence about a figure, now might be the time to go get it.

Yeah, I noticed this too, even took a pic and planned to chat about it. A pity, the $8 Deluxe was an awesome deal.

Yup-- annoying, too, as I discovered this while picking up a Cyclonus as a farewell gift for a friend who's leaving for basic training. We knew it couldn't last, though I was assuming they'd be back up in time for the new movie product.

On a related note, there's some weird pricing going on at my local Target. Universe Deluxes are still priced at $9.99, but the last two times I bought some, they got auto-marked-down to $8.99, hrm. And the first time, I only bought one TFU Deluxe, so it's not like a "Buy multiple get a markdown" deal. Hm...
Animated Deluxes are still $7.99 at Target though. Haven't checked Wal-Mart recently, they seem to be in the midst of restocking.
