Merry Christmas my fellow TF Views members.

Post by Tigermegatron »

Hi,I just wanted to wish everyone here a Merry Christmas eve & Christmas this year. Thanks for treating me so polite & respectful on my stay here. I will continue to treat everyone here with respect & dignity as were all TF Fans who should be friends & get along with each other, not hate, mock nor fight with each other. It's great being able to discuss the TF topics with level headed, kind TF fans like everyone here at TFviews.

I hope everyone here gets all the Christmas gifts transformers that are on every TF Views members wish list.

Last week,Was a awesome week for me,as I gave myself several early christmas gifts, due to TRU.com having so many sales & advanced shipments of newer TF toys. At TRU.com,I got the following: FE Voyager Bulkhead,Generation FOC Voyager Soundwave. At Target Two weeks ago I saw & Bought TF Prime Voyager Ultra Magnus & Voyager Thundertron on sale for $17.99 each.

I have several relatives, about Twelve that I always give Christmas gifts to. hopefully their pleased with what I got them.

On a unrelated note: I saw the latest Batman movie called " Rises" on DVD,a few days ago. I gave myself another early Christmas gift,I didn't buy it,I rented it for $3. Wow,This was a awesome & serious movie, great character development, great cast of actors/actresses,great dialogue, decent special effects, great plot. This movie has got to be the best movie i've seen in a long time. Anne Hathaway was super hot & sexy curvy in this movie,I was in awe of her beauty & curves. I was already a Anne Hathaway fan when I first saw her in "Princess diaries. The best part of all these Batman movies in the 1990's thru 2013 is the fact batman does wear those gay spandex tights for his costume. Batman's costume consist more of body armor & pads, sorta like what a football player wears or what black ops special agents in the military wear. ALL I GOTTA SAY I WANT THE WRITERS & DIRECTRS FROM THE BATMAN 2012 MOVIE TO DO NEWER TF LIVE MOVIES. mICHEAL BAY & HIS WRITERS ARE TOOLS/MORONS/PERVERTS & NEED TO STOP MAKING NEWER TF LIVE MOVIES. EVEN JAMES CAMERON WOULD BE A WELCOME NEWBIE TO DIRECT NEWER TF LIVE MOVIES. AT LEAST SHIA LA BARF WON'T BE IN TF 4,THAT'S GOOD NEWS RIGHT THEIR

Merry Christmas to all of you. It's going to be a little rough for my family this year. My 94 year old grandmother had to go into the hospital and now into rehab, where she'll be for probably a month. It's going to be tough to get together tomorrow for dinner and to visit knowing she can't be with us. We're blessed to still have her at her age, so that's something.

I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day tomorrow. :)

Well that bites. You know we're here if you feel like talking about it. Hope your new year is better.

Thanks, but it was just a victim of circumstances not turning out as ideal as I'd hoped. New Years should be better.

I am glad that somebody posted this. As O6 pointed out in another thread, the forums have been in a slump of late, so it is good to see interest and a sense of community.

This Christmas was bitter-sweet.

I have not really cared much about Christmas for a bit more than 10 year. I may visit with family. But, I tend to see those visits as unrelated to the holiday. I have 9 cousins in my rough age bracket (we are all children of the mid-70s to early-80s). We have only been in the same room twice since the century turned, and not much before that. (It is purely a question of our lives and schedules being what they are.) But, I can also say that it is possible to have any combination of us in the same room without incident between us.

This year, I visited my uncle. His 3 kids were there. One cousin's husband was in the hospital for a (likely) scratched cornea. He is likely to be okay, but it put a damper on the evening. Another cousin's daughters were with their father for the holiday. I am close to those kids, and will admit to missing them. It was not a bad night by any means. But, I found myself missing a few people.

As the break week went on, I found myself considering how much of an ending 2012 was for me. After going back to school several years ago, I had completed yet another program and am now as ready as I will ever be to begin looking for a new job. While 2013 is likely to be an improvement over the last few years, it was not lost on me that the end of 2012 was the end of a chapter in my life. Seeing my other cousin's children also drove home the idea of time passing.

Still, I am looking forward to 2013 and the opportunities it offers.

Best,
Dom

Belatedly, merry Christmas to all my TFV buddies, and happy new year! I meant to post that on xmas itself but I mismanaged my schedule both days a little and chose to put family first. May 2013 be a better year for Transformers and bring us new forum friends to hang out with.

Not too much went astray for the holidays this year, although I did get rear-ended which put a bit of a damper on things and tweaked my back (car seems ok, back seemed ok but every few days acts up again). Visited my cousin way out in Hesperia, about 120 miles east way out in the desert, so it was her and her 2 sons, her brother (my other cousin) and his fiance and her 2 children who are like family to me, their mother, my dad, my mom and her husband. Waaaay out in the middle of nowhere with freezing temps and nothing open and eerie daytime silence. ;) We had a nice time making dinner and exchanging gifts and the various merriment.

New Year's wasn't a bang-up event, my niece got back from Mexico so my sister and I decided to get together with her for the evening, but it got a little tangled by my niece's father's family, and my sister turns out to be a bit of a buzzkill for New Year's. Oh well.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

I'm headed off to MAGFest tomorrow. For me, the new year doesn't begin until MAGFest happens.

Also, I played a gig with my father's band...and I'm pretty sure that's the last time I'm ever doing that. His girlfriend (also the singer) was just acting like a complete drama queen and was terrible. She acted like a child on stage. She hadn't practiced in forever, so she was all over the place and sucking, and then blamed us and said the monitors were too low (but when we turned them up, there was feedback, and also everybody else could hear fine!) so she was probably off her nuts. I got paid, though, so I can't complain.
