Yup, and I did, too. Wal-Mart Deluxe Prime, mainly picked him up because I don't really care for the look of DOTM Voyager Prime, so I figured this'll do. I like Prime being smaller than Megatron, anyway.138 Scourge wrote: Definitely going back for Prime later, that thing looks really cool.

I'm seeing it tomorrow, if anything goes according to plan. And given how much I didn't like ROTF, I'm surprised that I'm actually excited for DOTM.

Re: June Hauls!
Felt kinda stupid when I went back to the Target to grab the Fireburst Optimus Prime (the Voyager with the axegun) I'd seen there a day or two earlier, only to see it was gone, naturally. Whatever, him and Sentinel (who honestly looks better in person and whom I'm kinda considering after seeing the film) are out now and they'll be around. I'ma try a couple of the other Targets tomorrow. Anyway, what they DID have was a freshly opened new case of Cyberverse Commanders (seriously, the box was just sitting open on a pallet in front of the aisle) with what seem to be the only two new toys of that wave, Hatchet and some new version of Optimus that I can't remember the exact name of (he comes with Prime's swords and some new cannons and is in a paint scheme that I don't think is particularly well-executed) so I grabbed Hatchet since I'd kinda been looking forward to him. He's sizable for a Commander, almost up to old Scout proportions. While he's not as big compared to Deluxes as he was in the movie, he at least looks nice enough next to Crankcase, even if his vehicle mode is randomly wrong. Still, he's a neat little toy, with a unique jet-to-beast Transformation (Come on, Sky Lynx repaint!), and fun little accessories (I really like the little drones, especially that they actually turn into different-styled guns, and even more when I realized they could peg together into one long blaster). I really want a Deluxe Crowbar now.
The character made an entertaining impression (loved that he actually had a voice), and the toy is a good representation of that character. Makes me wish such a thing had been so easy with Frenzy back in the first movie (we didn't get a legitimately good Frenzy toy until Human Alliance, and that was just a fun little extra packed with Barricade).Onslaught Six wrote:Seeing the film and instantly wanting Laserbeak is a pretty common occurance. I guess 86 did the same.

Lazerbeak is mean as hell in the movie.
Hatchet does not look like a bad toy. But, it is one of the least screen-accurate figues I have ever seen.
And....
Customizing yielded a headless TFU Breakdown figures.
