More new Generations figures coming

The modern comics universe has had such a different take on G1, one that's significantly represented by the Generations toys, so they share a forum. A modern take on a Real Cybertronian Hero. Currently starring Generations toys, IDW "The Transformers" comics, MTMTE, TF vs GI Joe, and Windblade. Oh wait, and now Skybound, wheee!

I thought the Tranemetals 1 toys were beautiful, creative & pushed the designing limits. The TM2,toys I thought were epic garabge. Most TM2 toys came off as lazy designs, super ugly sculpts. taking away the vehicle modes & doing cyborg metal & organic parts in both modes was a bad decision. The TM2 toys just felt like a large step down from the TM1 toys. it just felt like Hasbro/Takara gave up & said,"there is no way we can create another year of TM1 toys with our budget & exhausted design teams".

At least with The TM1 toys,I saw tons of present & possible future potential. I would have like to see TM1 continue with another year of toys. Had BW had the much bigger sized TF toys like 8 inch Ultra's,Leaders & supremes,The TM1 toys in these sized would have been works of art. Imagine a TM1 Lio convoy that is leader sized,a tripple changer & could transform from a robot, then lion, then vehicle truck cab. A tripple changer BW Megatron that could transform from a robot, then T-rex/dragon,then into a tank or jet.

Really I was hoping for a Beast Machines Rattrap, even though I knew full well that was never gonna happen ever.
TM and BM Rattrap are adequate figures still, while original Rattrap really needed an update pretty badly. Yeah, the TM backpack doesn't rotate around and the wheels don't move as shields, but ultimately I think it holds up well enough.

Apparently the issue only reveals two other figures, rather than 3 as had previously been reported. Those two are Tankor, making him the first Beast Machines figure in the Generations line, and Crosscut who is a repaint of IDW Skids with a new head.

Called it on Crosscut; I'd be more excited if he were red, but I'm not sure that's what colour Crosscut actually is. But I do know the original Skids mould was red at one point.

Rattrap looks alright, Tankor looks awesome but scale might be a factor. (Also, this makes Rhinox technically one of the few dudes in Generations to have multiple toys.)

Tankor looks pretty good, though since apparently someone scanned the collector's club magazine, the one I found is tiny. I'm sure more will be forthcoming.

And que the inevitable Tank Drone repaint. It looks good and I hope we get the other Vehicon Generals too. I'd also like to see a proper Megatron featuring the "housecoat of doom" wrapped around his semi converted Transmetal dragon form.

Tigermegatron wrote: The other Three figures will be Deluxe Tankor,Deuxe Nightbeat & Deluxe Cross-cut. This info was revealed months ago on various top 5 TF web sites with forums.

Many suspect 30th Nightbeat & cross-cut will share a new mold between them. or use other characters molds from bumblebee & other sports car-bots. Tankor will most likely get a new mold, whom he'll no doubt share later on with a tank drone or another newer persona character via a repaint/remold.
 It seems like I was right :D

Even though Nightbeat didn't get a pic reveal in this TFCC Magazine,He will still be released in the initial wave that Tankor,Cross-cut & Rattrap are in.

I never cared for the CGI Tankor & don't care for the 30th Tankor toy design. The 30th mold that skids & 30th Crosscut uses,I always thought was too kiddie/TFA/TFP looking,So all these toys in this paragraph are a easy pass/no buy.

Tankor does look really nice from what I can see in that image. I'd also guess the inevitable repaint will be the tank drones. It'd be nice to see them larger than a basic, even though a deluxe is still too small for the character...

Rattrap's rat form looks really good too. Much improvement over the original mold.

What's with Rattrap's clear weapons?

I do love the demo charges in his arm though--brilliant! I always wanted some kind of bomb accessories for my Rattrap as a kid.
