Is anyone watching the new Cosmos show?

I am, I think it's a great show. I love how informative and visually creative the show is.

I saw the first one but haven't had time to watch the rest. It is really good though, I like Neil DeGrasse Tyson, he's a great scientist and is good at explaining it in ways that non scientists can understand. It's very interesting, a worthy update of the original and Tyson is a worthy successor to Sagan.

I am, and I'm loving it. I really hope it comes back for a 2nd season. 13 episodes is too short.

Last night's ep about the greenhouse effect and global warming was cool. It may seem like basic science to us, but I still like hearing all the mechanics of how it works. And especially for all the people out there that deny it's even happening or that humans are the cause, it's even more important that they show the simple mechanics of how it works. And the evidence that it's being caused by our civilization. Kinda depressing but at least it ended on a hopeful note.
