Stay out of the water...

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!
Generation 1, Generation 2 - Removable fists? Check. Unlicensed vehicle modes? Check. Kickass tape deck robot with transforming cassette minions? DOUBLE CHECK!!!

Stay out of the water...

Post by 138 Scourge »

Well...it seems like this is finally happening.

http://transformersclub.com/

Man, Skalor looks spec-friggin'-tacular. It's hard to say without seeing the others, but it looks like that shading around his scales is supposed to be the filth that oozes out of him all the time. That's a kinda brilliant touch.

I'm not as crazy about his new tech specs, though. No more crustacean rifle? The corrosive/fear toxin combo's kinda cool, but it'd be a lot cooler if Oil Slick didn't have the same thing. And, the quote doesn't quite do it like the ol' "I stink, therefore I am".

But whutevah, I can ignore that stuff. Just look at how awesome that is!

Man, I got my new Octane, they made Scourge's Seacons... Crap, it's like Hasbro is actually *listening* to us. Who's wish is going to get granted next?

That set makes me wish I was in the Club. And had that sort of money to burn.

Dude, I so don't have that kinda money to burn, nor am I in the club. But I will find a way to make this happen. I needs me these guys so, so bad.

But while they're listening to us, let's team up and demand Power Pack "Superhero Squad" toys...

Oh god, don't make me think about this. It's be so easy, just two two-packs! And MODOK's 11 figures! And Marvel TFs based on MODOK's 11! Or at least Puma, Mentallo, and Armadillo.

Dude, how hard would an Armadillo Marvel TF rock?

Harder than almost any damn thing. Especially if he had his "robot" mode...some sorta "vehicle" and could still roll up into the "Roadkill Special"...

As for the Power Pack SS, I figure they'd have to go the same route they did with the FF...At least four (or five) packs, with each one having Julie, Alex, Jack, and Katie and a villain. I figure, Snark, Carmody/Boogeyman, The Wizard's kid from FF/PP, and...I dunno...I'll think of something. And as for five...Franklin Richards or Whitey, I figure. Oh, man oh man, it'd rock.

Remind me to finish my RH Armadillo one of these days, too.

I vote Retrax retool for Armadillo!

Man, I hope one of my wishes gets granted next, I've been a bit meh on upcoming TF for a wee while. The Seacons, however, rule. Keeping the name? Love. The art, retouched G1 art? Love. The blackwashing? Love.

I'm in the TFCC (I'm actually a mod there, by the by, heh), so if anyone wants hot Seaconny goodness without the strings, lemme know.

Well...it likely goes without saying, and I believe we discussed this before, but, just to be on the safe side.

"OH ME RIGHT HERE YEAH OH MAN ME ME PLEASE THANK YOU SIR!!!!"

This is the truest thing that's ever been said anywhere.

So...any word on how much this particular kettle of fish will run?

$119 USD, I think. Not cheap, but hey, complete set in spiffy box.

$119? That's...not too bad, actually.

Though, I do think it's funny that the original cost me less. Of course, the original wasn't complete with cool packaging, either.
