Yes,you read this thread right. Next week at the Tokyo international toy show Takara is going to announce the MP-14 TF Character identity. apparently MP-12 is Lambor,MP-12 is Redalert & MP-13 has been officially confirmed as Soundwave.

MY GUESS WHO TF MP-14 is,will be is G-1 Galvatron.

My wish top 5 wish list for MP-14 is as follows:
1- 1986 Galvatron
2- G-1 Cyclonus
3- 1989 Deathsauras
4- 1985 Blitzwing
5- 1988 Masterforce Overlord

The pic shows the Sideswipe model so I'm gonna have to guess that Sunstreaker is now a repaint of Sideswipe. Or possibly a G2 Sideswipe.

As for your guesses... dude we get it, you only like the '86 line up and are totally desperate for a new G1 Galvatron. This is only like, the bajillionth time you've mentioned it. And yeah, Deathsaurus and Overlord just ain't gonna happen anytime soon. Frankly for me, that era of TF is when they started to lose me. The alt modes were terrible and the disguise element had gone completely out the window by that point. Sixshot? Yeah, that kinda looks like a tank. I guess. Ish. For me, this is where it lost the magic.

The picture is just a teaser for the Sideswipe figure since they haven't shown off the final painted version yet. But I would agree they will probably make Sunstreaker eventually, having made Sideswipe. Being the Masterpiece line though, I don't think it'll just be a repaint.

Since they already announced a Red Alert repaint of Sideswipe, they could do the same thing to Soundwave and make Soundblaster. Though I can't really see them waiting to reveal that at the Tokyo toy show. That makes me think it'll be a more iconic character. I'm hoping for another Decepticon at least. Shockwave would be at the top of my list.

Incidentally, they could've remoulded Armada Galvatron and Tidal Wave and given us Overlord from that.

I think hasbro missed a golden opportunity with overlord with the energon toy line. had the decepticons also had the 2-in-1 shirts/pants combination gimmick. then a decepticon jet/bot could have combined with a decepticon tank bot. even if the jet/bot was named starscream & the tank/bot was named megatron. these could have been repainted later as overlord via botcon,store exclusives or ebay fan customs. at the very least since the decepticons get all the military alt modes,we might have received some decent duo-cons repaints as botcon exclusives,store exclusives or fan customs on ebay.
