HOIST! And also, Geewun Mixmaster

Ok, so I picked up the set. Hoist and the very Geewun repainted Mixmaster. Mostly because it was on sale and I wanted Hoist. And I wanted to replace Mixmaster. So Hoist is pretty nifty. Looks great in both modes. Simple design, complex transformation. I like it. A lot. I'd recommend it more if it were packaged individually. As it is, I would recommend it if you don't already have Mixmaster and can find the set on sale. I still like Mixmaster, but his G1 colors are not really working well on this mold. I did find it ammusing that he has "Ol' lefty" written on his vehicle mode obviously referring to the fact that his G1 incarnation was Devastator's left leg. Anyway, the black really detracts from the figure, not because it doesn't work with the color scheme, but because of where it's located. His whole head is black which really mutes the detail. I dunno, good set overally, definately glad I got it, and feel that it was worth the price, but it's mostly carried by Hoist and it would be hard to recommend that someone spend that much for one figure, especially if you already have the Voyager Mixmaster.

I'm not a big fan of Mixmaster, and almost regret getting the regular flavour version. Really wanted Hoist, though. If that set had come out here I'd have been all over it. Sigh. Longarm is an awesome mould.

It sure is. If you wanna trade for something we got plenty of 'em at my local Toys R Uses. I actually like the Mixmaster mold, just not this deco of it for lack of paint. All that detail hidden under black plastic.

Hmm, anything in particular you're after? Don't have a ton of spares, mostly G1 if memory serves. Can always try tracking things down tho'.
