MP Skywarp

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!

MP Skywarp

Has anyone seen any trace of Skywarp at their Walmarts yet? I've been looking for the last couple weeks but so far, no dice.

There's a bunch of them at the one in Indiana. Stacks! But he's expensive and I don't even like Skywarp that much--I'm a Thundercracker guy.

Found a bunch of 'em out here. But yeah, like O6 said, 'spensive.

I'm not entirely sold on this guy, either, but that may be just me. You lookin' for one up there?

I've been casually looking as I'm basically on collecting hold until I close on the house (which will be today! :D ).

I'm passing on this one, despite having all four other MasterSeekers. He's just too samey, the others are all distinct and different. Takara's MasterWarp is puuuuurdy, though, all that gloss black in jet mode.

If anyone doesn't own a MasterSeeker by now, make sure to get this one. It's an amazing piece of work, and decidedly fun to pose too.

I think they look hugely different. The silver detailing on the wings makes all the difference and I think really brightens up an otherwise (and previously) dull looking figure.

I think he meant samey in the case of the same as every other Skywarp ever. Maybe.

Well there you go makin sense on the internet again. I suppose the Japanese version does actually stand out in that respect, but to me, not in a good way. The lack of wing detail on that one just leaves it black, boring and bland. Unfortunately it seems to carry over to the robot mode which does add some purple and silver to the mix, but not really enough to make a difference. The wing details may be samey to every other previous version, but it's one of the key things on that deco that makes it work.

Actually saw this thing on the shelf today, which was shocking given that I live in Scalper Central (it will be gone if I go back tomorrow, I promise you). Wow...disappointing. He's, like, almost entirely black, with a little bit of purple that only serves to highlight how aggravatingly all-black the rest of him is. Of course, I've never been too tempted by the Masterpiece Seeker mold anyway. It just intimidates me with the amount of breakage it looks like it could suffer. It just looks...way not fun to fiddle with. Kinda durpy-looking face sculpt too.
