well...lessee

I haven't been getting to many tfs lately, due to the fact that I can't stand animated, and I've been extremely picky about the movie toys.
That being said, I found a 10 dollar scratch off lotto ticket on the ground outside of work, cashed it in, and got a 100 dollar winner.
So, I had money to burn, and well, BBTS was/is having a nice clearance sale, so, I shopped.

got me a webdiver Gradion
Classics Overload
Energon Strongarm (was thinking of a kitbash, but now, not sure anymore)
Titanium WW Megatron

and from Habsor direct, got me SWTF Turbotank (intended for to be bashed into Pyro)
and 2k7 movie wreckage

Good to see you Shin. And, that is a great haul.

On my side of things:
-custom fodder for making Joes.
-customizing yielded a retro-Takara colored TFU Bluestreak. Pics coming soon.

Dom
-behind on customs.

Whopping awesome haul, but I got a pack of those "Energon Battles" card things. I'm just buyin' 'em in hopes of a Grimlock at this point, but anyway. This time around I got Hot Rod and "Black Jack" (the Micromaster, I guess?) but I figured out that they actually have instructions in the lil' checklist thing. Yeah, I know, I'm slow some days.

So anyway, turns out that I kinda like these things. There's definitely an appeal to these cardboard-formers.

I got wicked addicted to those things back when they first came out. I might still have a bunch of 'em lying around. Maybe I can dig 'em out and mail 'em to you.

There's been nothing I want TF-wise of late, but this morning I was shopping for my grandmother's birthday (She gets a 2GB MP3 player/radio!), and couldn't resist picking up the Indiana Jones ROTLA Cairo Swordsman. On clearance for half price, and I'd been wanting him for a while.

He is Osama Bin Barbie. No kid would look at this and NOT think "This is a terrorist baddie for my heroes to fight!" Except maybe Arabic kids, I dunno. Heh.

If you wanted to do something like that, I'd be all for it. For my part, I think I could figure out something worth trading for some of them.

I can see how one'd be addicted to 'em, they're really kinda cool. I sort of want to try making some...

No Transformers for awhile, but I got a couple of new pieces of fiction from two of my sci-fi hobbies.
- Doctor Who - The Curse of Fenric on DVD
- a new Star Trek Voyager novel, Unworthy

okay, so generally, I've been avoiding most movie toys lately, but, I finally caved. Got me Rampage, Jolt (which I have been wanting something fierce yet not sure why) and HA Sideswipe.
I had been holding off on deluxe swipe for HA, hoping that the curse of my area doesn't hit, that being any toy i really want never shows up, ala, classics inferno. So I saw him today, and figured, "to hell with it" and caved.

Tomorrow, I'll be getting classics Heavy Load, with which I hope to turn him into something to make a certain apocolypse fellow weep for joy, though he 'is' pretty picky.

Get money, get paid, buy shit. Vicious cycle. Here's what I got:

-ROTF Dirt Boss! He is the one who the dirt calls boss.
-Star Wars: Legacy Collection Darth Maul. I've wanted a Darth Maul figure since The Phantom Menace came out, not joking.
-Sandman volume 7. This and the other book were cheap as hell. Go coupons.
-Pokemon Adventures volume 3. Yay!

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.
