Star Trek Voyager season 7 on DVD. I've seen the first and final episodes of this season, but nothing in between.

Universe Ratchet. The one at my grocery store was STILL THERE for 9 bucks.

It's been a lil' while, I've picked up a couple things in the last few months.

Today, though, I got a nice new computer. Well, an old one. Refurbished, old and cheap. Insert your own "your mom" joke.

Over the last few months, though...

Universe Cyclonus (ever so rad)
Universe Hound and Ravage (very much rad as well)
Animated Ultra Magnus (oh, lord, aweSOME!)
Animated Blurr (I love some Season Three character-types and Animated versions thereof. This toy's great)
Legends Beachcomber (yeah, he's...interesting)

Brave and the Bold Batman (the one with the battering ram thing). I just wanted a goofy, bright-colored Batman, is all.

G.I. Joe 25th(?) Croc Master: I love this guy. Joe's security dude? A regular K9 guy with a dog. Cobra's security guy, on the other hand, wears a gimp mask, scuba gear, and has an alligator. Hey, G.I. Joe, being awesome is the other half of the battle.

A few of those Marvel Joe-scaled toys...thanks, Hasbro. That's what I need, another toyline to follow.

And a mound, mound I say, of comics. At a convention awhile back I got the "Power Pack: The Kids are All Right!" hardcover, and that's probably the best thing I've picked up lately.

So, how you guys been?

EDIT: I forgot. I broke my rule about only getting characters from the new 'Joe line when I found Golobulus, Nemesis Enforcer, and...the crab-armored guy together, complete, and for wicked cheap. Fine, Hasbro, no 25th Golobulus? Phhh...who needs one? (I do, but this'll suffice).

Thanks, anderson, delightful to be back.

Where've I been? At work, mainly. Two jobs, thirteen-to-fifteen hour days, blah. Then just when I was ready to get internets again, my computer died. Then I got a free mac from a friend, which also promptly died on me. Sheesh.

I once said "I'd rather have a computer than a girlfriend, computers are less irritating", and the universe had to pay me back for that...

This toyline infuriates me. You Marvel fans, you get these kickass 25A Joe versions of all your favorite characters. What do DC fans like me get for 3.75 inch toys? Infinite Heroes. SO unfair. Still, I might pick up a Green Goblin, just for posterity. And you know if they did the Power Pack I'd be on that immediately. Any of MODOK's 11 too, now that I think about it...

Woah, which one is this? Is it the 2000 series? I actually got all the single issues of that a while back...

I been great. I'm graduating, going to an anime convention, and moving into my own apartment, in that order, starting at the end of the month.

I'm doing horribly in college and have had musical writer's block for months.

But I got comics today, and that makes everything better.

-Atomic Robo FCBD issue. There's some other Red 5 crap in there that I don't care about, too, suppose I'll get around to reading it at some point. In this issue, Robo fights Dr. Dinosaur, a superintelligent dinosaur who claims to have travelled from the past. Robo argues that he cannot possibly have done so because timetravel is impossible, and so is he.
-TMNT #1 reprint, FCBD. Topical, considering I just downloaded the entire original Mirage run.
-G2 #5. The one with the cover where Megs is holding Bludgeon's severed head. They didn't have G1 #5, so I settled for another!
-Transmetropolitan vol 1 TPB. Mmm, Transmet.
-The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons manga. Got this for half price because a friend had a coupon at Border's. Boosh!

Thing is, the toyline's kinda hit-and-miss. I've gotten four, and while Iron Fist, Hulk, and The Thing rule, the Punisher figure was kinda horrible. It's like "How do you screw up a 3.75 figure of a guy with many guns? You get enough practice at this, Hasbro!" Sadly, as far as the 11 go, that might take awhile, since they're only up to two villians...

Yeah, the Sumerak/Gurihiru stuff..The first series, then the ones with the X-Men and Avengers. But, the hardback collection's bigger than regular comic-size, so you get a real good look at Gurihiru's beautiful, beautiful artwork.

And congrats on the graduatin' and moving out stuff, Prowl. Here's to ya!
