As most guessed including myself,Nightbeat would be a repaint & not get a new mold.

30th Jhiaxus is just disappointing. As it's a very lazy repaint. That doesn't even try to match any of his art designs,not even the IDW recent ones. Hasbro,was lazy here by putting a Jhiaxus head on a body that looks nothing like any of his art designs.

Nightblade,there is only pencil art sketches for at the moment. So it's too early to decide.

I was optimistic,that Hasbro would be creating about 30+ newer molds for the 30th 2014 toy line. I'm seeing far too many repaints & I fear the oppossite.

Instead of releasing countless repaints. Why not just use the Takara Exclusive TF molds they refuse to use. Like the Alternity deluxe scale toys. The GO Trio Combiners. The Takara TFP Exclusive molds. All these toys can get repainted & renamed in iconic TF characters names. The GO trio combiners could become Defensor & Predaking or Magnaboss. GO Voyager tripple changer optimus could become Skylynx. the Alternity toys could become stunticons with newer head sculpts or race car 1984-1985 autobots with newer head sculpts.

Are we getting Halloween-themed Jhiaxus again? Seriously, give me a new-mold G2 Jhiaxus and I'd be all over that. I'd love to add the character to my collection. I'd even take a repaint if we got one that matched the G2 comic color scheme. But if the pictures of this version are accurate, I'm going to pass once again, just like I did with the Jetstorm repaint version.

Personally,If I had my way/dream,HasTak would create a Leader sized Jhiaxus toy for Generations that matched his Marvel G-2 comics art designs in both modes. At this rate,Probably a 3rd party not-TF company will more closely create a G-2 Marvel comics G-2 Jhiaxus at the more proper Leader sized scale.
