Would you have prefered a Live action Simpsons movie instead of the animated movie?

It could have been done in a similar vein to that first live action Flinstones movie.

I think it would have been epic to have all the simpsons characters played by famous or newbie actors. maybe grow up the plot/arc for the movie story.

No way. Animated is the way to go.

I'm not really a fan of the Simpsons, but I don't really think they would work as live-action. A lot of the humor only works because they're cartoons.

I can't really see the Simpsons translating to live action very well. I think like andersonh1 said, a lot of the humor only works because it is animated. Besides that, a lot of what those characters are is because of the voice actors who've played them for about 25 years. It'd be hard for someone else portray those characters.
