Sliders TV series,a awful show ruined by ruthless executives.

I recently wathced this Sliders TV series on the hub network. the first few seasons were awesome & made sense. Then ofcause FOX & Sci-fi hired new company men Executives that ruined the series.
From my point of perspective,the Sliders TV series went down hill when the Executives/Writers fire dProf. Maximilian Arturo/John Rhys-Davies. This guy really knew how to act,had class & was wise on the series. He was the anchor & when he got fired the boat began to slowly sink. John got fired because he use to mock the writers badly written scripts & dialogue. John also got fired because he mocked a low level employee at a christmas party,then years later that low level employee got a higher position & fired john.
Then things further went down hill when the executives/writers fired Wade Welles/Sabrina Lloyd. Apparently behind the scenes,Sabrina & the new girl didn't get along. so sabrina gave the exec's/writers a choice fire her or me,they fired sabrina. This was amnother huge mistake as Sabrina's wade character was the heart,soul & kind spirit of the team.
With 2 of the original 4 cast members fired & gone,the whole Sliders story began to make no sense nor have any future purpose. the whole point behind all 4 original cast members sliding was to find that one lucy slide back to to their earth,called prime earth. It was ridiculous to add newer cast members because it made the first season story about getting home make no sense.
Then to further add coal on the fire Jerry O'Connell/Quinn Mallory quits before season 5 starts. because his contract expired,so he was free to chose to continue with the sliders series or chose to legally leave it. Jerry o connel asked the executies to get some director time under his resume,they refused so he quit the Sliders series. Personally I think Jerry O connonel must have been disgusted about the writers/executives firing two really good actors,he saw a sinking ship & wanted to leave before the series bad reviews ruined his career.
To add the last coal on the Fire,The sliders series continued with season 5 without the team leader/brains of the unit/Jerry O connell. This is when the sliders series became a un-watchable mess. nobody on the team knew the sliders travel formula nor did anyone know how the sliders remote was built. they replaced jerry with a newbie that was suspose to be various alternate universe quins merged into one. yet the new quin/jerry wasn't the team leader,he was low on inteligence & very care free. The writers/executives handed the show over to Rembrandt/Cleavant Derricks & he became the team leader/brains of the unit. Personally Rembrantdt was the least interesting of the original team of 4 season one sliders. Rembrandt was given the series because he was the only one who stayed & didn't jump ship.
Lastly,The sliders series ended on a cliff hanger. the writers/executives didn't even have the class/respect for the viewers to end the series in a final story type of way,where all the loose strings got tied up & a happy/sad ending happened. Reading a few wiki sliders pages,the writers/executives had the change to end the series in a final story but they got selfish & thought if they ended it on a cliffhanger then the network would give the series a sixth season.
