I got pulled over for speeding on the way to a con once. I was dressed as a Jedi from the Jedi Academy books, and when I waved my hand and said "I'm not the speeder you are looking for" the cop laughed, told me he was a huge Star Wars fan, and let me go with a warning.

Anyway, I'm listening to "The Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I open doors with Force Hands 'all the time.' It's pretty much the only way I open automatic doors.
Ditto. It's awesome.

"Heartless" by A Day To Remember.

Hell March from Command and Conquer. I'm actually listening to a youtube series my friend made of some of the best videogame music... about half of them my band has covered in a four year span.

Stuff from both Quake soundtracks better be on there.

And now I'm cranking Quad Machine. Woo.

Mayonaise, by the Smashing Pumpkins. This is one of those timeless songs that will always call a certain time to mind.

"Pick your pocket full of sorrow, and run away with me tomorrow.."

I invented the 138 movement. There's not that much to it, we scream "Time to be an android, not a man!" at that time. Okay, it's just me. And it doesn't even happen that often. But still...

And I can't not open doors with Force Hands. Or, I point at 'em and go "Open, Bitch!". Yay, pretending to have mental powers!

Anyways, "Passive" by A Perfect Circle. I'm not a huge Tool fan, and even less wild about this band most of the time, but this song just does it for me. I dunno why, it's just extra-special.

Because it's a Tapeworm song.

Story goes, Tapeworm was basically a side project between Maynard and Trent Reznor and some other guys. They got some tracks together, and then the project eventually fell apart. One of the contributing factors, supposedly, was Maynard playing an unfinished song live called Vacant. Vacant eventually got almost entirely new lyrics and became Passive.

Bad Habit by the Offspring. This song is hilarious and satirical. It's gotta be. "You stupid dumb shit goddamn motherfucker!"

Indigo Children, by Puscifer

Which, incidentally, is another side project from MJK, and reportedly reinterprets some of the Tapeworm material. Considering some of the tracks are 'very' NIN in style, I'd not be surprised at all. Awesome, either way.
