Thirst- It was an okay ep, but felt slow in more than a few places, felt like a lack of threat or urgency in others, contrived expositive dialogue early on, and ultimately felt like someone was rushing to tie up as many loose ends from season 1 and 2 as possible. Silas and Airachnid come rushing in from stage left and sprint straight for their exit at stage right. Soundwave pulls the same portal trick he used previously on Arcee. Underwhelming.
The saving grace were some funny moments between KnockOut and Starscream. If not for them, this episode would've been a total clunker.

Knockout's back liscense plate has the word "Joey" on it with some numbers afterwards. I can only assume this is to pay homage to one of the TFP/BH Writers, voice over actors or crew members.

One thing I really hated about this episode- and a pet peeve of mine in all Transformers shows- is that I felt this show didn't leverage the fact that the titular characters can fucking transform. It was a bog-standard closed-circle zombie story, complete with slow-ass zombies shambling around. It could have been so much more interesting if the lurching zombie-cons transformed into cars within the nemesis, or were unleashed on a human town and used their zombie-bite to turn human vehicles into zombie-cons like the Allspark in the movie/animated 'verses, only with a thirst for energon.

Here's some stuff I predict or hope will happen before the series ends.
1- Hopefully the writers don't forget about Smokescreen almost becoming a prime. Hopefully he becomes a prime at the end of the series like hotshot became the leader at the end of Armada. Than in typical Energon series fashion the next TFP/BH series in 2014 that is a sequel forgets smokescreen was a prime, reduces him back to lower rank & shows optimus leading the autobots.
2- Optimus,I feel is destined to die at the end of this TFP/BH series. Probably in a similar fashion that BM Prinal died in at the end of the Beastmachines series. Where Optimus sacrifices his life so Cybertron can be reborn. My guess is TFP/BH Optimus will give all his energy that he got from that hammer back to the hammer so that smokescreen the new prime can use the hammer & restore cybertron back to it's former glory.
3- Something I feel is going to happen to Jack's mom & fowler, either there gonna start dating or get married before the TFP/BH series ends. Perhaps the "minus one" episode will have Fowler die.
4- Megatron's resculpted fishy voyager BH toy suggest that he's merged his dna with beasty elements,So hopefully this plays out in the BH cartoon series. Either with megatron wanting the beasty parts of his own free will. or gettting heavily damaged then getting forced to endure the DNA beasty parts merger by either Predaking or Shockwave.
5- Starscream is bound to betray megatron again in a big way before the BH series ends.
6- Miko & Jack will most likely start liking each other more/dating before the BH series ends.

I really doubt Megatron's gonna' pick up a new body in the show. How many other characters have upgraded to their BH versions? Just Optimus. And with only a handful of eps to go, I just don't see Megs upgrading.

Tigermegatron wrote:After the "Thirst" Episode ended,Their was no preview for next weeks newer episode. This basically means BH will go on another Hiatus break & air re-runs for a few weeks.
Looks like the next new episode is scheduled to air June 28th, giving it a 2 week hiatus.

My solid guess,Is that botcon shows a few newer BH episodes before they air on the hub.

One thing I admit I don't know jack diddly about is TV production: is the reason they keep taking so many hiatii because they're behind on making the episodes, or is this more the hub spacing out the season to coincide with toy releases? As a kid I always hated when a character debuted on Transformers or any other toy-related show before his figure was on shelves.
