I want Battle Blade Bumblebee and I don't know why.

Money, violence, sex, computer graphics, scatalogical humor, racism, robots designed to be rednecks but given European accents, and maybe another sequel to the saga... what's not to love? TF m1, Revenge of the Fallen, Dark of the Moon and now Age of Extinction.

The "Animated" jet brothers are a good idea toy-wise, though the combined vehile mode rates an "F". Context-wise, they are awful.
Universe I think I got all of them, not counting robot heroes or minicons.
You should definitely try to pick up the Minicons. Both sets were really good.

Well they did have plenty of copies of the minicon sets at the Kmart right down the street from my house...

What's so bad about the context, pray-tell? I didn't think the story was too bad. It's about above average for your standard TF 'introduce a new toy' story.

It was a tedious "paint by numbers" idiots do good story. Dammit, the franchise has too many of those.

Maybe at first, but I thought they proved themselves rather well later on.

The jet twins were funny because they were Skwissgaar and Toki.

I don't care if they actually were or not. They were to me, damnit.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Now I need to watch Animated again. That's hilarious!

I was talking about the type and stucture of the story, not the characters. (They are pretty annoying unto themselves though.)

Maybe we read different stories then. The comic that came with them was a "top secret technology" story, the repercussions of which lead to Omega Supreme and the stories involving Arcee. The characters were annoying in the comic, but I found them tollerable on screen.

And back on topic, got this yesterday and so far I'm loving it. The transformation is complex and interesting, certainly different from the other versions of 'Bee we've gotten before. I'm still fiddling with it, haven't got it completely transformed yet, but it looks good so far in 'bot mode. A lot of interesting details went into it. I especially like the torso area that has the front grille of the car with moveable peices. The underneath black bits. Those of you that get this will know what I mean. I also like how they made the arm transformable from hand to gun mode and the "battle blade" is pretty cool too. Overall, I highly recommend it. Especially if you don't have a Bumblebee and are looking to get one or have one and want a better one.
