How is Jolt? I keep eyeing him, but I already 'have' a Jolt.
I also got Human Alliance Whirl, who's honestly a better toy than Jolt. Kinda frustrating that they actually molded his windshield in clear plastic, then painted it completely over in silver (in fact, I'm generally unhappy with the whole color scheme on this toy) but it's a solid mold with a ridiculous/cool weapon mode and a *lot* of fiddle value. He's also got a shit-ton of 3mm rails on him, which is nice, since the previous wave of HA Basics seemed kind of limited in that regard. If they make a better repaint, I'll likely pick that one up too.
They are repainting him.

Also, that whole painting-transluscent-windows thing would *almost* be acceptable if the paint were on the inside of the windshield. Then the windshield would still look like glass, but be coloured inside, like in the G1 cartoon and most other media portrayls of TFs.

People spend so much time worrying about whether a figure is "mint" or not that they never stop to consider other flavours.

Grabbed an RTS Perceptor. I am giving a week's grace on this. Then, it goes in my customizing pile.

Sometimes I forget that Prowl and I are the forum's obligatory Hentai Guys. Y'all are lucky we don't talk more often, or there'd be entire threads about tentacles, skirts, and the meeting thereof.

For what it's worth, I don't own any toys based on even vaguely ecchi properties. My reputation is tenuous enough as it is!

You, who have lived sharing perverse photos, now squirm at the sight of them? I thought you were made of sterner stuff.

All I've got are Queen's Blade Alleyne and Ymir, who I mainly bough because they're great toys of nice character designs (Queen's Blade runs into the same annoyance as Nanoha in that the fiction is reprehensible/annoying, but there're some genuinely great character designs involved). The 'M Mode' features go largely unused by me, I'm far more interested in Alleyne's swooshy posable hat and cape.

Surely a *hat* cannot be poseable!

Surely it can!

The back of the hat is attached to the back of her head via an angled Revolver joint, letting it move in various degrees to simulate motion in action poses. Or surprise.

Note also that the hair on the back of her head is posable in two separate chunks. Ymir goes even further, as each one of her 'drill hair' ringlets is on its own posable joint.

Posted a full review in the DotM Review Thread. Short version: He's okay in different ways than ROTF Jolt was okay, and bad in different ways than ROTF Jolt was bad. I feel like I spent too much of the review comparing him to ROTF Jolt, but what'cha'gon do?

Quite a hauls list today: Action Master Thundercracker. City Commander armor with upgrade kit. Two Shockwave t shirts from hottopic.com, RTS Lugnut x2 from Ross. Not only do Ross stores have the latest RTS waves in stock but apparently they are also half off. So for 20$ I got two Lugnuts. They didn't have Grapple but they did have Deep Dive. No Windchargers though. And yesterday got Zelda II: Adventure of Link for Game Boy Advance SP.

I got BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II for the 3DS. Man, it's a good thing I find the actual game as fun as I do (BlazBlue finally gets its Slayer-alike in the form of Vallkenhyn), because just one cursory glance at the generic-anime art of Ragna and Jin on the manual made me remember how ambivalent I am about the aesthetic aspects of the series. God, you should listen to the dialogue in the story mode; everyone's either one of the last noble/nice people left in the world, an apathetic badass, or some psychotic Nietzsche-wannabe bent on destroying the world because they just hate everything SO MUCH, and tons of terms from Japanese Mythology 101 get tossed around as names for different types of SUPER SPECIAL personal magic-weapon thingies, along with a lot of vague prophecy-fulfilling, time-traveling, soul-defining nonsense. Gomess, I suspect you would have even more of a problem with all this than I do, since I'm mostly here for the gameplay, which is as solid as an ARC game should be.

Seriously, people actually *like* Hazama? He and Noel might be my two least favorite characters in a whole lineup of people I mostly can't bring myself to care about.
