Exactly. I tried not to look at her at all. Mostly I felt sorry for her. If Bay thought he was appealing to me by casting her, he needs to talk to me more often.

Oh yeah, poor Megan Fox. That poor exploited girl, making all kinds of money and getting all kinds of career boosting publicity. How does she should that burden? Oh, poor Megan Fox!


That said, while she is very attractive, she ain't got nothing you cannot see in a typical beer ad. And, beer ads are free, while movies cost money. Of course, we can probably assume that there is a good sized portion of the intended audience for summer movies who would happily pay for what they can get for free.

In other words, yeah Fox is appealling, but not enough to balance out the rest of the movie.

Okay, I got it.

Lebouf might be a whiny drug-addled twerp in real life. But, he definitely manages to bring Sam the character to life. I have to wonder how much of his own self-indulgent folly LeBouf brought to his portrayal of Sam in RotF. Will the growth of the actor as a person mean that the character has to grow with him? Time, and sequels, will tell.

Oh, he's been in worse. And I find him far more interesting to look at than LaBeef or Fox.
