I'd be thrilled if that could happen.

I want the mold for Pistols Sideswipe, but I'd really rather have a non-movie character repaint. And I should really know better than to assume things like this by now, but surely the repaint of Pistols wouldn't be another slight variation on Sideswipe, right?

Surely he would be. He's silver Corvette, with red windows but closer to the original silver, and this time the variation is he has big red flames at the front. I hadn't noticed before, but it appears this is an all-new figure: http://www.flickr.com/photos/collectico ... 7/sizes/o/

No, bits like his chest, abdomen and thighs look to be the same. There's significant retooling going on, but there's still some of the same core figure. Or at least it looks like it is.

Wait. Okay, that's the first "Sidearm Sideswipe", right? A retool or new mold, whatever, but that's the first paint scheme with that guy, yeah? Okay, I'm saying that I would hope a repaint of that wouldn't be another variation on the same dude.
