From this list,I only bought Darksteel. I might have been tempted to buy TFP Unicron,Had Hasbro sold it in USA stores for $20. I just didn't think the TFP Unicron was worth the $60+ shipping fees import price. Skylynx while being a nice 1986 homage, was too small of a toy to be a proper homage. Hardshell needed to be in 1985 insecticon colors & Maybe deluxe size.Mako Crab wrote: Darksteel and SkyLynx fall into the same category for me as Makeshift and SkyQuake- one and done characters. Not worth my money for as little as they did on-screen. And I won't even go near the TFP Unicron toy. That thing is terrible. Hardshell's off the list too for being released only as a cyberverse size. Too small for my bigger guys.
Out of all of these,I just bought the Leader sized Predaking Target exclusive toy. All of the BH primes toys looked to ugly, overly bulky/kibble/toddler aimed.Mako Crab wrote: Nope, I just need Predaking and Breakdown. And MAYBE, MAAAAYBE Beast Hunters Optimus. But only the regular version, not that giant monster of a guy.
Had Hasbro released the TFP 2012 Voyager Breakdown in the USA for $20,I probably would have bought it. The mold just isn't worth the $50+shipping Takara import fees.
That leaked 2014 release Hasbro TF list,Had a Voyager BH Breakdown on it,So i'm hoping Hasbro gives us this in 2014.
The 2012,2013 & 2014 Generations/30th TF toys were the best TF toys we received in a long time. I'm hoping the 2014 delivers big time. Yeah,I know the TF4 movie toys will slow things down for the generations/30th toys in 2014,even cause temp hiatus breaks.Mako Crab wrote:
If they continue making Generations Beast Wars guys, I'm going to snap them all up. Especially if they continue to be as impressive as Rhinox, Waspy and Rattrap. I'd really like to get a good representation of the entire season 1 cast, as I missed them all the first time around.
I don't need the Generations/30th 2014 toys to go super obsessive with the BW homage toys. as most of the Original 1990'S BW toys were already super poseable,CGI Show accurate, highly sculpted. I'd rather the Generations/30th toys focus on giving older TF toys who had limited joints, low sculpt, bad colors,A better chance at getting a better updated toy.
I'm not buying the 30th Waspinator toy. I already have the 30th Rhinox toy from HTS. I plan on buying 30th Rattrap.
1999 TM2 Ultra Dragon Megatron needs a newer Voyager toy,as the original one was horrible. Hasbro can always release the Takara TF GO Dragotron in those red colors & name it TM2 BW Megatron, they can even go the extra mile by creating a TM2 Megatron robot head sculpt.
If I had to choose which BW toys get Hasbro 30th/generations updates it would be as follows: 30th voyager sized toy for BW 1996 Tigatron,Then the Shadow panther recolor. 30th/Generations leader sized toy for 1998 BW 2ND Lio Convoy, then recolor the toy in 1986 Razorclaw colors with a newer head sculpt.
