See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Obviously we'll delete the 1986 Predacons from this debate discussion below. because the FIve 1986 predacons were deluxe/voyager sized. not legends or basics sized limbs-bots.JediTricks wrote:Legends are smaller than the limb-bots of old.
Depends on which TF toy line Legends sized TF talks were referencing. It also depends on what TF toy lines Basics/scouts/commanders sized TF toys were referencing. Some TF toy lines had the Legends sized TF toys bigger or smaller. Some TF toy lines had the basics bigger or smaller.
When I do TF size comparisions. I generally go by a mathematical "Average" system.
The Energon, Cybertron toy line,Animated & the movie verse had the legends basics sized TF toy more taller+bulkier than other TF toy lines. While Beastwars & TF Prime have the basics smaller than other TF toy lines. While TFP Have the lengends way smaller than other TF toy lines.
Obviously When I reference the 1980's USA 1980's limbs bots,I also do this on a mathematical "Average" size scale. because lets face,it's cheating if one goes by the biggest or smallest as the reference for the size scale. The seacons limbs were the bulkiest, while the Technobots were the smallest.
The 1980's Technobots are smaller in height/bulk compared to the Biggest sized scaled Energo,Cybertron,DOTM HA Basics,PCC Basics commanders. TO PLAY FAIR,The biggest 1980's limbs bots, the seacons are smaller in height/bulk compared to the biggest/bulky Energon,Cybertron,DOTM HA BASICS,PCC BASICS COMMANDERS.
Most Cybertron toy & animated activators/legends toys are roughly the same size in height/bulk as most 1980's combiner limbs like the Stunticons,Aerialbots, technobots, combaticons,Terrorcons,Protectobots.

Yes,please take pics of those Desert combzticons limbs-bots next to a few 2005 Cybertron & 2008 Animated Legends/activators toys. toys like legends Leobreaker, activators megatron & activators grimlock were the tallest bulkiest of the legends/activators toys.Onslaught Six wrote:Do I need to take pictures of my Desert Combaticons next to Legends toys?
Also if you can please take a few pics of those desert combaticons limbs-bots next to the taller/bulkier Energon terrorcons toys like the Insecticon & the other energon terrorcons basics sized toys. Also take pics of those desert combaticons next to other movie verse basics/commanders like the DOTM HA basics & the PCC Basic sized commanders/core bots.

The Energon and Cybertron toy lines had Legends and Basics, but they weren't the same thing or even the same pricepoint. Movieverse also had Basics that were larger than Legends.Tigermegatron wrote:Obviously we'll delete the 1986 Predacons from this debate discussion below. because the FIve 1986 predacons were deluxe/voyager sized. not legends or basics sized limbs-bots.JediTricks wrote:Legends are smaller than the limb-bots of old.

Apparently so. I would have said not since their bulk differences SHOULD be obvious, but TM says otherwise.Onslaught Six wrote:Do I need to take pictures of my Desert Combaticons next to Legends toys?

I think I'm in for these. Even if the combined form is kind of a mess, I've got enough love for the Terrorcons to get tiny abominus.
With you on the names, Anderson. Particularly Cutthroat's new name. Windrazor just does not sound cool, Hasbro. I know y'all are proud of that one, but let it go. Fetch is not going to happen.
I could get behind a Monstruxtor repaint, too. Or an Autovot repaint with Hun-Grr redone as Doublecross, Blight as Repugnus, and Cutthroat as Grotesque? Throw in a couple new guys and you're good. I dunno.

Re: are u exited for the "Abominus" Beast hunters legion-Cla
Seeing as I just got Twinstrike yesterday, I figured I could contribute to the whole size debate that was goin' down.

Here's Twinstrike next to the only G1 Terrorcon I own, Cutthroat. Surprising me, at least, Twinstrike's only marginally shorter than Cutthroat in Robot Mode, this toy's surprisingly beefy for a Legion Class figure. Note also that while some of Cutthroat's mass is in his beast wings and legs jutting out behind him, Twinstrike also has his own beast tails and forelegs piled onto his back.
So if the other BH Terrorcons turn out around the same size as Twinstrike here, they could actually end up comparable in size to their G1 analogues. The obvious exception would be Hun-Grr, who will be the same size class as the rest of his team here, unlike the larger figure he was in G1, which will probably leave the combined form of BH Abominus noticably smaller than the original gestalt.

For a second, I thought you said "Autovolt," and my mind instantly jumped to Cybertron Crosswise fighting the Terrorcons, and holy shit that's an awesome idea.138 Scourge wrote:Or an Autovot repaint with Hun-Grr redone as Doublecross, Blight as Repugnus, and Cutthroat as Grotesque? Prowl nails it. Why do I find myself always agreeing with Prowl now?

Just curious,What store did you find & buy Twinstrike at? What was the price of this toy?

Holy cats you're right, Crosswise having been a 'Monster Hunter' and all. Kind of amazing there weren't any Terrorcon or Horrorcon or Pretender Monster homages in Cybertron for him to actually, you know, hunt.Onslaught Six wrote:For a second, I thought you said "Autovolt," and my mind instantly jumped to Cybertron Crosswise fighting the Terrorcons, and holy shit that's an awesome idea.
It's always Animated or Movie characters that are getting retro-introduced into the G1 universe these days, but I think Crosswise is an example of a guy not from one of those who would do well to be brought into a more 'mainline' story setting. Especially as a dedicated nemesis for all the monstery Decepticons that are around.
Well, some of us just can't help but be kickass all the time, Six. Believe me, even I wish I could turn it off sometimes.Prowl nails it. Why do I find myself always agreeing with Prowl now?
Found 'im at Target, all the stores near me have the new Cyberverse stuff in. He was $5.99, TRU has them for a buck more.Tigs wrote:Just curious,What store did you find & buy Twinstrike at? What was the price of this toy?
