Don't really see what that has to do with Jetfire and Jetstorm... Besides, I'm not a fan of that show (or of most of the shows on Adult Swim anymore).Onslaught Six wrote:Watch more Metalocalypse.

Ha, I hadn't even thought of that! Now I really hope for some variation of "Stops copies me!" in a future episode.Onslaught Six wrote:Watch more Metalocalypse.Sparky Prime wrote:Cool to see the premier of Jetfire and Jetstorm, although I'm not a big fan of their voices. How were you not expecting that from the Twins' voices, Sparky? That's pretty much exactly how they were presented in the comic.
Also, it's Yoketron, for what it's worth.

I'm skipping the Animated toys so I haven't read the comic. Even so, reading a comic isn't exactly going to give you the voice they use in the cartoons.BWprowl wrote:How were you not expecting that from the Twins' voices, Sparky? That's pretty much exactly how they were presented in the comic.
I've seen it spelled like 50 different ways on various sites. I just picked the most recent one I'd seen. Also, it's Yoketron, for what it's worth.

Eh, in this case it did. Also, am I to assume that the style is the reason you're skipping the toys?Sparky Prime wrote:I'm skipping the Animated toys so I haven't read the comic. Even so, reading a comic isn't exactly going to give you the voice they use in the cartoons.
Credits, homie. Watch the credits.I've seen it spelled like 50 different ways on various sites. I just picked the most recent one I'd seen.

I came across a few scans I still disagree the comics don't necessarily give a clear indication of voice. Case-in-point with Perceptor especially. At any rate, yeah I hate the style of Animated.BWprowl wrote:Eh, in this case it did. Also, am I to assume that the style is the reason you're skipping the toys?

Metalocalypse is easily the best show on AS right now. It's relevant because Jetfire and Jetstorm talk exactly like Skwisgaar and Toki.Sparky Prime wrote:Don't really see what that has to do with Jetfire and Jetstorm... No, I agree with you that comics don't generally do that. But in the case of Jetfire and Jetstorm it did, since the comics made it pretty clear through written dialects that they were talking like foreign English-as-a-second-language guys.Sparky Prime wrote:I came across a few scans I still disagree the comics don't necessarily give a clear indication of voice. I don't have a counterargument for this. Simply acknowledge that you are wrong and that Metalocalypse is awesome, and I will forgive you.Sparky Prime wrote:Yeah...
