What is that about, anyway? I've noticed lot of sigs and avatars over there on the same topic. Are there plans to call the repaint of that mold "Nemesis Prime" ?

Re: Hasbro's Masterpiece Rodimus Prime
I wouldn't mind it. They just released a Scourge-Scourge; to release a guy who looks entirely different while also named "Scourge" would be strange.138 Scourge wrote:What is that about, anyway? Re: Hasbro's Masterpiece Rodimus Prime
There's a campaign over there to get the repaint named Scourge instead of Nemesis Prime. I jumped on the bandwagon as soon as I saw it because, well let's face it, you all know I've been saying "Scouge, not Nemesis" for years now.
Re: Hasbro's Masterpiece Rodimus Prime
The obviousness of the recolour has deterred me from buying that Prime more than once.
Between Hasbro, Takara, eHobby and Fun Publications, a legit recolor is all but guaranteed, meaning there is no need for a custom figure.
Dom
-the colour scheme is also damn near impossible to screw up.

You stole my BIT, God Dammit! There's only room for one perverted sigpic on these boards, and I think we all know who has more seniority and experience in that area! You're playing with fire, kid.Shockwave wrote:I wish I could take credit for that, but my sig is actually used by permission from another member over at tfw, shibhamura prime.Tigermegatron wrote:Shockwave,I just checked out your site. Too expensive and I need the money and shelf space. Actually, I need the money to buy shelf space.
But I agree, he does great work.

Yeah, and I agree with that more or less. I mean, I don't care what they call the repaint, if it's black (or really, dark grey) and teal, I'ma call him "Scourge" anyway. But did Hasbro announce this repaint and I missed it or something? Or is this just one of those memes that start up over there?Shockwave wrote:There's a campaign over there to get the repaint named Scourge instead of Nemesis Prime. Actually, truth be told, as much as I like RiD Scourge (in design, anyway), I don't know if I like the Deluxe Laser Prime mold enough to get two of 'em.
....aaaaaand okay, I, um. I'd sort of like 'em to repaint it as Toxitron.

I dunno, I think it's clear that Prowl's always been into the actual *women* of Transformers, whereas Trekwave is repressing some actual desire for the robots themselves. =p NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THATBWprowl wrote:There's only room for one perverted sigpic on these boards, and I think we all know who has more seniority and experience in that area!

I don't think Hasbro has announced any sort of repaint for that figure yet, but I think the campaign is to drive the idea home to Hasbro before they just call it Nemesis Prime again. Anyway, I saw the bandwagon and jumped on.138 Scourge wrote:Yeah, and I agree with that more or less. Oh that's easy. Boobs are awesome. Robots are awesome.
