Various TF web sites have zone & scramble city available for download. all you need is a DVD player installed on your computer & some type of program that allows you to record movie you download off the internet on to black DVD's I use Nero.
Their are other ways to get zone & scramble city. Their is a site called ioffer.com that has sellers who sell all the TF cartoons episodes really cheap & put them on blank dvd's.

Thanks for the hint, I've seen Scramble City, but I'd like to own an official release, is all. Not that any incentive could really make it worth it, if I'm honest. It's mostly stock footage!

Scramble City is included on the 20th anniversary edition of the animated movie, though with commentary rather than the original soundtrack. Not that the original soundtrack helps, unless you speak Japanese, since I've got a copy of that too. All I can pick out are the character's names.
But I'm all for seeing Headmasters and the other shows released on DVD. I've seen very few episodes, mainly just a few here and there on Youtube. The series doesn't impress me, but as a curiousity and continuation of G1, I"d like to own it and watch it.

I'm kind of ambivalent on Japanese G1. I'd probably like it if I saw more of it, though. I just never seem to get around to it. I do like that bit where Snaptrap makes the worst noise ever to summon the Seacons, and then fights a guy that looks a helluva lot like Powermaster Prime but isn't.
Now, if Shout Factory wants to get around to releasing some Beast Wars Neo, I'd probably get into that. I'm sure I wouldn't like the show as much as I like the basic concept of it, but I still sort of want to check it out.

I prefer the japanese version as a continuation of the G1 cartoon and as a definitive continuity for it, but that's because where I come from, when I was growing up, after the end of the third season of the cartoon they jumped to the Japanese version episodes. So those would be part the Transformers I grew up with. It was just three yeas ago that I saw the american version of the headmasters episodes for the first time, and didn't think much of them.

I shouldn't really need to tell anyone who's been on here since the BWTF days that I prefer Headmasters to The Rebirth.
Just by way of warning for you guys that are 'considering' watching these, Headmasters is a repetitive space opera that interestingly shows the transition from the American Style to the Japanese Style. Masterforce is just a Good Show. Victory isn't QUITE as good as Masterforce, but really should've formed the basis for more future TF shows. Set in the same continuity as the old stuff, but with NEW characters. Just what I always wanted.
of course, this is only my prediction
but maybe what you predicted is what'sssssgonna happen!

That's ok, neither did we.

Rebirth's only real plus was the boss animation quality.
