Well, if finally showed up....at 2, making me an hour late for work during week with shorted hours.
Well, we are probably having a snow day tomorrow. Guess what I am going to be doing?
Actually, one of the seekers might be broken. But, Sunstorm looks fun-tastic.
Between the 3 Sunstorms, bootleg Ramjet, 3 bootleg seekers, and Reflector, that package was a ship-fic waiting to happen.
Dom
-please leave package in the back.

That sounds awesome! I love knock offs. Lately I've been unpacking the toys that I've had in boxes for about the last 4 years and I found three knock off TFs that I'd forgotten about. Knock off Lio Convoy, Tigatron, and Blingtimus Prime. Cause he's shiny gold.

As I learned, posts in the Trades forum are uneditable, to prevent scalping. 'Cos we're all mistrustful villains.

Hey, we *might* get new people here at some point! You never know!
Dom, which Sunstorms are they?

This is the Henkei type knock off. It looks like the other Henkei figures.
In other news, the Ramjet broke after about 5 minutes of light fiddling. And, all of the other seekers have backward hands.
Dom
-might customize on a snow day.

One of the pegsholding the upper wing piece to the body snapped. (These pins are rivets on legitimate copies.) There is no way to fix it and still have the toy transform.
I plan to post a full run down of this haul soon.
Dom
-this has been an adventure.

Just thought to contribute a point to this trhead, though it's a little late...
If any of you plan on getting more of these stuff direct from China, maybe you'd like to check in with me first. Singapore has a very thriving market for toy collecting and a lot of speciality stores for toys of all sorts. Not to mention that the main location for toy trading is 15 minutes away from my office.
The pieces that Dom spoke of are sold here for SGD20 to SGD35 a piece (depending on variant and its demand), and I get to pick and choose them off the shelf. Shipping costs form here shouldn't be too different from shipping from China, if that's a concern.
Even if you're not looking to purchase but just wanna know how the products are like in person, I may just own some of them already.
And, just to state the disclaimer for the sake of it - I'm not looking to make anything out of this. I just noticed how inaccessible some of these products are to you guys in Europe and USA, even with the Internet and online orders, while there can be piles of it in stock here.
Just trying to help the fellow collectors and fans.

Thanks. And, if you are who I think you are, good to see you again.
Dom
-needs to check in over at CA.
