I tried to like the Newer Teen titans Go series,but...

I was excited about it making a come back on the CN network. After watching a few episodes,I was hugely disappointed.

What turned me off to the TT Go series,is that it seems like a Caricature series mocking the previous Teen titans series that was on CN a few years ago. Instead of the TT GO characters getting older/more mature/more serious in the TT Go series,IIt seems like they all went from teenagers to grammar school aged kids. The TT Go characters look much younger & shorter than the previous TT series characters. the writers seem to be making comedy/light of each characters powers/persona/outfits,thru the characters being overly silly,mocking themselves/other team members,extreme jokes,etc...

I didn't mind the comedy & jokes in the previous TT series on CN Because it was mild/medium level & well balanced out with seriousness/matureness. This newer TT GO has appanrently taken the comedy/jokes to the next extreme levels & lowering the kids viewing age but much less than the previous CN TT series.

I didn't like how the TT Go series made light of Cyborg's body that a tiny person with no body skin lives inside & can come out & in of the huge cyborg body whenever he pleases. Robin isn't as mature & weaker than his previous TT CN series persona. Starfire they remade into a beverly hills type extreme prima donna/princess. While thus far raven is void of any persona.

I realize the previous CN TT series started out more silly than got super serious/mature/less funny towards the end of the series. BUT I just don't see this NEWER CN TT GO series going in that same TT series direction. Clearly the writers intend this TT Go series to be aimed at much younger kids thus the reason they didn't do a follow up series but a mild reboot series.

I'll try to watch more TT Go episodes on CN to see if it gets better,But i'm not overly optimistic it will.

Believe me, I'm just as disappointed that they canceled Young Justice (you watch that one? Fantastic show.) for...this. But what're you gonna do? Serious action cartoons apparently just don't sell with kids anymore these days.

I wasn't a big fan of the first Teen Titans show personally. I loved Young Justice though, and it was one of Cartoon Networks highest rated shows. I really don't understand their decision to cancel it and bring back Teen Titans as Teen Titans Go. Well I guess TT Go is cheaper to produce, but still... Young Justice was a much better show.
