MP-12 Lambor was selling for under $70 at most on-line import sites months ago. now that various on-line import sites estimate Hasbro won't be selling this item in America,BBTS & other competiting sites I presume have decided to raise the price by double. Coming up with some lame-o excuse for the insane price hike.

I REALLY HOPE HASBRO AT SDCCC 2013 & BOTCON 2013 REVEALS THAT THEY ARE RELEASING THE VARIOUS MP-12 REPAINTS & MP PROWL REPAINTS IN AMERICAN RETAIL STORES. So this defeats & ruins all the insane scalping of these toys on-line & at conventions.
Here's also hoping Hasbro releases some of those TFP/FE toys as USA store exclusives like Gaia Unicron,Voyager Breakdown,Deluxe jet vehicon---->My guess is Funpub uses these rare TFP/FE/RID molds as Botcon 2014 con/club exclusives.

This isn't the first time BBTS has done this. BBTS 18+ months ago put up pre-orders for the Takara TFP FE/TFP Japanese toys versions at some-what normal prices----> NEEDLESS TO SAY WHEN BBTS FOUND OUT HASBRO WOULDN'T BE CARRYING SOME FE & TFP TAKARA VERSIONS,BBTS cancelled all pre-orders,then SHAMEFULLY LISTED THE SAME EXACT PRE-ORDERS A FEW WEEKS LATER FOR DOUBLE/TRIPPLE PRICES.

I suspose if desperate fans are willing to be taking advantage of,then they deserve to be taking advantage. after all if no one paid those prices,BBTS & other competing import sites would have no choice but to lower their prices back to normal. PERSONALLY I DON'T SEE THE POINT IN PAYING DOUBLE/TRIPPLE FOR THOSE TAKARA TF IMPORTS,I'D RATHER PAY THE 75% LESS HASBRO USA PRICES.

Personally I was only interested in buying MP Side sideswipe & MP Prowl at Hasbro's USA under $40 retail prices. I was only interested in Buying TFP/FE/RID Gaia Unicron & Voyager Breakdown at hasbro's USA under $25 retail/site prices---->SO NO,THIS ISN'T A THREAD ABOUT ME WANTING TO BUY TAKARA'S MP LAMBOR FOR UNDER $80. This thread is about the shameful pratices various on-line import sites engage in when they hear a TF item is rare due to hasbro not selling it.

That price is for the Japanese Takara Titan Metroplex. Takara always charges double or tripple compared to Hasbro much cheaper USA TF toys retail prices.
