Where did those outfits for SS4 Goku & SS4 Vegeta come from?

Where did those outfits Super Saiyan SS4 Goku,SS4 Vegeta & SS3 Gotenks come from?

I can sorta understand the gorrilla chest hair being used as the SS4 top for SS4 Goku & SS4 Vegeta. But where did the SS4 pants come from? When SS4 Vegeta became a SS4 He first grew into that huge giant ape that destroyed all his clothes thus making the huge ape naked & full of brown/black fur all over his body. SS4 Goku is clearly wearing different pants when he transforms from a kid into his SS4 form.

Where exactly does that brand new SS3 Gotenks outfit come from. I can sorta understand the fusion between trunks & goten making their bodies look different. But I don't think a body fusion should be able to fuse the outfits together into something different.

I call it laziness on the Creators part coupled with trying to cash in on the new looks via merchandise profits.

Except they never showed any capsules nor did they show anyone opening up capsules then putting on the newer SS4 pants for SS4 Goku & SS4 Vegetta.

I think this was just laziness on the writers & animators parts. they probably did care anymore due to the series almost wrapping up.

It was crystal clear the SS4 forms for Goku & Vegetta were created for the sole purpose/motivation of selling all the merchandise like toys,clothes,posters & so forth.

I don't think solid continuity was ever a concern for Toriyama. DBZ itself was essentially a random add-on to Dragon Ball (one that did immensely well, but still, all that Saiyan stuff came out of nowhere).

I still can't believe they made super android 17 a contender/match for SS4 Goku power levels. it made no sense because in DBZ Android 17 was barely a pinch over the super sayain power level. so in DBGT 2 combined Andriod 17's should have combined into something with the power level of a super sayain 2.

"Power levels" is something I always disliked in DBZ (and many shounen anime). It shows such a fundamental misunderstanding of combat.

So I'd actually disagree that #17 "shouldn't" have been a match... but within the confines of the series' rules, I concede that you're right about it not making much sense!
