Super bare bones definitions:
ID- The Pleasure Principle. It thinks of itself first. Is often represented by the villains, but not always (Han Solo and Bones McCoy are examples of good guy Ids). Can be a source of impulse, creativity and destructive behavior.
SUPEREGO- In conflict with the ID more often than not. Where the ID acts on what would please itself, the SUPEREGO acts on societal norms and tends to think of others.
EGO- Caught in a constant battle between the ID and SUPEREGO, the EGO has to take all this conflicting input and make decisions and decide how to act upon them.
ANIMA/ ANIMUS- Anima is the feminine side of a man. Animus is the masculine side of a woman. Often seen in fiction as a character that helps the SELF (or main character) along a journey of personal growth.
And with that out of the way, I'm going to toss out a couple.
