Just got back from running to Target for a few things, noticed they'd put all of their TFs on sale, to varying degrees. Prime/Beast Hunters stuff is marked down the furthest, with Deluxes being $10(!), Cyberverse vehicles and Voyagers at like $18. Generations Deluxes were only down to $14 and change, with Voyagers (all they had was Soundwave. Poor guy, with Soundblaster about, no one wants him) at $21 and change. Legion and Commander figures had only had their prices reduced by a few dimes.
If I see BH Smokescreen at the $10 price, I might get him. And I'm waffling on BH Wheeljack as well.

Re: TFs marked down at Target
This isn't a markdown at my stores, it's a sale. Also, TFG deluxes are $15.12 at my stores, too bad they aren't the $14 you have or I'd have bought something. At least I got them to price adjust my Smokescreen down from $18.59 to $10.
TFG voy Soundwave is hitting heavily here as well, I think the wave 1 cases are finally starting to hit their stride and Soundblaster is shortpacked at 1 per case there.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

Er, meant to say that it was a sale at my stores to (in fact, I did say that, in the beginning of the post). Sorry, I never meant to imply that this was a permanent price reduction.JT wrote:This isn't a markdown at my stores, it's a sale.
Jesus, is that how much Deluxes cost in your area? That's out of control. They top out at $15 and change over here.At least I got them to price adjust my Smokescreen down from $18.59 to $10.

Sorry for the confusion on my part, "marked down" usually means a lower permanent price or a clearance and it's what is in the title, so I focused on that aspect.BWprowl wrote:Er, meant to say that it was a sale at my stores to (in fact, I did say that, in the beginning of the post). Target has deluxes in my area from $15.59 up to $19.19 depending on which store you're at, it's really horrible in the LA area now because Target is generally the only place to go for such things in a timely manner. Yesterday at TRU, $16.99 was what I paid for a deluxe generations figure I sent to Dom, and they only price-match on physical ads which IMO isn't really a price match at all.

Re: TFs marked down at Target
I went to Target in my area & bought one of those TFP/BH on sale Predaking Voyagers.
I ofcause later that night open up the box & transformed the toy. I enjoyed the somewhat complex Transformation. I thought the use of the robot waist joint rotate sideways & having the lower robot legs form the back & stomach was creative. I like how the Beast back legs weren't the robot legs nor arms. For a Voyager it looked quite big in both modes, nicely colored, high sculpt.
I wasn't too fond of the Two Dragons heads orange pop off/on things. I tried to use them as snap on extra dragon heads, then snap on robot weapons. in both cases,I thought they made the bigger toy look more awful with them attached. I think the robot mode looks better with just the tail weapon in it's hand. I also think the dragon mode looks better with just the center dragon head on the toy.
From all pics I've seen,It appears the BH Voyager Predaking will have a more complex transformation than the BH Ultimate Predaking toy will have.
