Yeah, I already reported it to the post office, who said there wasn't really anything they could do (besides keep my future packages there) and when I asked if reporting it to the police would help, they said "probably not."

The cops in my area are dicks anyway. They'd take one look at me and write me off as a drug dealer or something. (There is a huge drug problem in our area, so it's not entirely unexpected. But just because someone has long hair doesn't make them a drug dealer.)

It would be kinda cool if O6 stuffs a tracking device inside a brand new cheap teddy bear or a brand new cheap electronic device like a alram clock. then makes the package look professional by putting send & from labels on the box, complete with packing foam peanuts or bubble wrap inside the box. Then once the thief steals the package,06 can track the package to the theif's house. call the cops & have the theif arrested for tampering with federal mail. stealing/tampering with federal mail have huge fines & may include jail time.

That's true, opening someone else's mail is a felony. Of course, this is still assuming that they don't just write him off as a drug dealer.

WTF, the postmaster isn't willing to deal with this? It's his ONLY JOB. Ass! It's not like he also has to stop rapists and car accidents and muggers and drunks the way cops do.

See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?

They basically told me that, beyond holding future packages, they can't do anything. (Also, my postal worker is an immigrant and doesn't speak English well, so even getting that set up was a pain.)

Ugh, that's awful. I wonder if the postmaster has a boss you can go to, maybe even write the postmaster general. Literally their ONLY job and they are that bad at it, privatizing them was a mistake I guess if it's just going to lead to the PO being ghettoized.
