One of the divisions in the beast fandom is where the best/worst episodes of "Beast Wars" are concentrated. Generally, people who like earlier episodes dislike later, and vice versa.
Truth be told, I think slightly more people see later episodes favourably.

I didn't equate "for kids" to mean "badly written". I said the serious episodes only goes so far because it is a show aimed for kids. Big difference.
