okay, points where they are due

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!

The AllSpark found it. And, it may well have been one of them who put it together.

Very nice.

It's clearly one of them who did it, or perhaps someone from /toy/ or something. (Though /toy/ hasn't mentioned it.)

Calling the number on the flyer gives you an automated line about the recall of some Nerf toys from 2008.

Okay, we have all been had. Everybody on this board. I just did some checking, and it looks like Weskerson's petition was an elaborate hoax.

Oh my god.

Yeah, Weskerson, (or whoever that really is), got us (and many other fans), really good. Oh my lord.

And, ya know what? My hat is off to him.

Speaking of pranks, TFW changed their message board around to be...Care Bears themed. Talk about a missed opportunity. (Really; MLP is obvious.)

Eh, TFW's had their spam forum "The Fuzzy World", that always had a Care Bear theme going. It's been contributor-only for awhile, but on April Fool's they've made it free for anyone for awhile a couple times now. So maybe that's what you were seeing?

I dunno, I was at work all damn day so didn't have a chance to check it out, but it seems normal now.

Just saw a posting on AllSpark. TFW said that Weskerson's petitions were not their idea. So, if those are a joke, the credit should go to someone else.

Transformers toys should be enjoyed by all.

Part of the enjoyment of buying a new TF toy. is the fact others will feel the same joy/enjoyment I do when they get a chance to also buy the TF toy.

I extremly dis-like all the on-line TF fan complaining, whenever Takara/Hasbro releases TF Reissues,re-releases rare repaints or comes to close to the colors/character of these TF Convention toys. Most of the complaining stems from these TF fans toys now being worth less on the secondary market.

Personally,it seems rather selfish to deny others the chance to own something rare that you own.

if anyone is looking for investments, then buy the following in bulk: gold, silver,Diamonds & so forth.

if anyone is looking for rare stuff, then dive down to the bottom of the ocean & grab a piece of the Titanic ship.
