Botcon 2010 is Generation 2

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!

so I could avoid owning a version of Walky's stupid fucking fan character.
Glit and SG Ravage are both official characters.

I am not defending the quality of either one. But, they are not fan characters.

Look at it this way, Scorch is good right? Nice recolor of TFU Hound make you happy? Focus on the positives my man. (I might just sell the damned Glit.)
Seriously, what authority does that twit have that Hasbro keeps coming up with new ways to jerk him off? If I start drawing a mediocre webcomic and acting all frivolous and petty on forums, can I get Hasbro's attention to get that new Sky Lynx I want made? Is this how it works now?
Willis and Archer have something of a friendship. Willis has a cult of personality, and he helped build Archer's. That might play a role. But, even so, I think it is more coincidence than anything else. Archer has a thing for wanky-ness and bad colors, and Willis is oh-so whimsical and tends to praise such things.

If you notice, Willis gets less work than other fans you could name, despite his cheer-leading.

And, as much as I hate to say it, Glit/SG Ravage is a good choice for a con exclusive if only because customizing that figure would be such a nightmare.

SG Ravage is official...because they made it official after Walky made him up.

Yeah, but he is official now.

The important thing is that we agree he sucks.

And yet I follow him on Twitter.

I'm such a hypocrite.

It is official. The customizing class toy will be G2 Sideswipe. I am handling this badly, as evidenced by the video some members of this board got a few minutes ago.

There was a video? I saw that a few hours ago on TFW and thought you'd be reeling. But it's the figure for the customizing class so do they actually modify it or just assemble it? I didn't go to the class last year because I figured I already know how to customize stuff.

No, I meant that *I* sent a video to a few members that I have email or cell-phone information for. My reaction is a bit over the top.

The custom classes generally involve assembling and painting the figures. They are official figures though, regardless of their manufacturing.

The video was in some format I don't recognize, for the record.

But yeah, sucks bad. I really wanted this, too, is the thing.

Of course, Overkill was the customizing class figure a few years ago. So this doesn't mean for sure that he'll never be released in a regular line ever.

Not saying that he will for sure, either, but there's precedent.

Custom class Overkill is a lot different from standard release Overkill, though.
