Re: Star Trek

At the end of the episode, they zoom out from the Athena parked next to the bubble.... But this visual makes it seem like the galaxy is comedically small. Various celestial bodies are impossibly close together and mis-proportioned. The curvature of the energy field between the mines is also visible...

Re: 2026 Hauls!

I'm really enjoying the Walmart retro figures. I love the old school inhuman faces. I wish the Bumblebee had the battle mask like the original toy.

Re: Retro Comics are Awesome

Damn, that's a bummer. I LOVED Neal Adams on the Silver Age X-Men. He's amazing.

Re: Transformers: Legacy

Last time I looked at a deluxe class figure, or whatever that size class is called now, it was almost $29. Anyone remember when Alternators were only $20 each? This hobby has sadly become far too expensive. Yeah. Have I become too old for this hobby or something? I just ordered Big Convoy and he's ...

Re: Star Trek

I'm definitely curious to read your reviews. I'm not seeing a lot of positive talk about this series. I'd have very little interest in it, but I do like seeing the EMH and would at least enjoy seeing him again. Oh, okay, yeah. I can see the appeal of those. I even have a few of those myself. I especially like the idea of a trade with different stories from different eras to really give you an idea of how the characters has changed over the decades.

Re: Retro Comics are Awesome

Anyone here been buying any of the DC Finest collections? A lot of them repackage material that's already been collected elsewhere, while some of them are new. It's basically a line that can have any character from any point in DC's publication history between 1938 and 2011. It's a lot like Marvel'...

Detective Comics #229 March 1956 Cover art: Win Mortimer Cover note: I missed it back on the cover of Detective 225, but the Martian Manhunter is now a backup feature in Detective Comics. We're five years past the end of All-Star Comics back in Feb-March 1951, and the future DC cast of characters i...

Re: Star Trek

SNW - Terrarium Ortegas goes on a solo mission to investigate some mysterious gravity waves (necessitating the crew minimize the mass on the shuttle for the mission) when her shuttle encounters a wormhole and she's forced to crash land on a moon orbiting a gas giant on the other side. Enterprise is...
