Art & Story has posted an interview with Transformer Animated writer Marty Isenberg who had also worked on a past Transformers show, Beast Machines. Although the interview is about writing aspects beyond Transformers Animated, they do discuss the show as well.

An article on CNN was released today stating that watchdog group HealthyToys.org claims that 1 in 3 toys on the market today contain toxic levels of chemicals like lead, arsenic, mercury, and others. However, what the CNN article does not mention is that Hasbro’s 2 most popular brands, Transformers and Star Wars, do not show those signs. (…more)

Transformers Animated gets 2 all new figures, and here’s the official Hasbro look at each. Waspinator is one of those characters that goes back to Beast Wars with great familiarity, and it looks like a big jaw is the major change here, no surprise. Prowl gets an all new figure complete with a sidecar that turns into Samurai armor. There’s been a lot of talk about whether Prowl is new or not, but it’s clear now that this is a total redesign.
