Just got word that our host has been under a DDoS attack ("distributed denial of service", using a bunch of zombie computers to ping a site over and over in an attempt to crash it by overtaxing its bandwidth and systems) lately, which is causing some of our outages. This attacks is almost certainly not against TFV, but since we are on shared hosting on a big network, our site troubles are collateral damage to some unscrupulous party who has nothing better to do with his free time. It looks like they may have closed an exploit that the unknown attackers were using, but we won't know for sure until we don't fall off the web again.

We seemed to have a bit of trouble Tuesday. I forgot to mention until now. It was maybe a half hour or so of not being able to get to the forums.
