For my money, the whole Inferno development was the highpoint of the show. One of these days I will finish my Deceptinferno repaint....BWprowl wrote:(Inferno's branding, the final fight between Galvatron and Prime)

Re: Energon discussion thread (spoilers)
Now that's just sad. Inferno didhn't have any development in the show. I remember clearly that he had maybe one line every 3rd of 4th episode and they forgot about him for the rest of the time. Then, because Hasbro had a new toy that demanded it, they finally did something interesting with Inferno. Except that since they hadn't bothered to develop him as a character in the least up to that point, his whole personal struggle and sacrifice barely registered more than a raised eyebrow from me. Not to mention that in the same episode that he supposedly died, Jetfire (I think) said that they had recovered his spark and that they were going to rebuild him, thus sapping what little drama there was from the scene.
Just like Arcee. Prime goes to Primus for advice and Primus sends him an angelic warrior. Yes, surely she must be important, because she's been sent from Primus himself! And then she disappears for the rest of the series after her introduction, putting in scattered, infrequent cameos every once in a great while, and offering nothing in the way of significant help.

Re: Energon discussion thread (spoilers)
Why the hell is "spoilers" in the title of this thread? You know what's a spoiler? The series that's been released for the past 3+ years!!!
See, that one's a camcorder, that one's a camera, that one's a phone, and they're doing "Speak no evil, See no evil, Hear no evil", get it?
Re: Energon discussion thread (spoilers)
Better safe than sorry. I know some people who complain so mightily about spoilers that they will not give them if the spoilers are specifically asked for. So, I figured I would put up a spoiler warning and head off absurd complaining.

Are there any of us like that 'here,' though? It's hard to remember sometimes that this place is basically isolated from all other TF sites.

Re: Energon discussion thread (spoilers)
If someone out and out came up and said "Hey, I'm a new fan, watching Beast Wars for the first time", it'd be a different story.
This is Energon. No-one gives a crap about spoilers for Energon, because even 'with' spoilers, plot summaries, notes from Takara and Hasbro, supplementary bios and opinions from other fans, it 'still' makes no sense whatsoever.

Well, if people complain about spoilers, I will be here to say "I told you so. You fools. I tried to tell you. Why did you not listen to me?"

I'm one of those who hasn't seen most of Energon. I only saw the first 10 episodes, and a few scattered episodes here and there after that. I don't know when I'll have a chance to see the rest of the show, so no point in holding back on my account. Go ahead and reveal whatever you want, as far as I'm concerned. I can always avoid the thread if I really don't want to know.

In one of the last few episodes, they got Charlton Heston to guest-VA and yell out this revelation. It was epic!BWprowl wrote:
