Dumb fans think Furman should write G1 #81 and beyond.

The originals... ok, not exactly, but the original named "The TransFormers" anyway. Take THAT, Diaclone!
Generation 1, Generation 2 - Removable fists? Check. Unlicensed vehicle modes? Check. Kickass tape deck robot with transforming cassette minions? DOUBLE CHECK!!!

Uh, why not just watch actual non-cartoon porn?

The plot made sense! Tons of it. It oozed sense.
Yeah, I really enjoyed Full Metal Alchemist myself. It got a little weird with our world during WWII being on the other side of the gate, but it was an interesting twist and made sense with how they explained it. And then there's the Brotherhood series that more closely follows the manga, which is a really good series as well.

And here we have the crux of Deathy's most inappropriate behaviours...

I do not even want to know, right?

So, uh, how about issue 81 being likely to suck ass!

Well doing a continuation after 21 years afterwards is bound to be loads of Suckitude & horrible.

Especially since simon furman has done several on-line interviews stating he wants to re-write a few stuff in the G-1 Comic & pretend G-2 never existed.

re-writting stuff & pretending stuff doesn't exist/never happened isn't a true CONTINUATION. re-writting stuff & pretending that stuff/events never happened sounds like A "WHAT IF" type of series to me. or similar to the latest star trek movie,dis-rupting the time flow & changing events, makes everything now go in a alternate reality/universe. that spriarled out of control & created it's own alternate future/present.

They're doing this. It's gonna continue on to #100, so that's twenty issues.

I saw this on TFW last night. I wonder if that means they'll just limit it to #100, essentially leaving Simon Furman with 20 issues to tell whatever story he wants. With that kind of a limit, this could be a good thing.

I'm just hoping issue #100 leaves off right where the Marvel G.I Joe issue #138 started.

hopefully issues #81 thru #100 fills in the gap years/events after #80 ended. and before G.I Joe issue #138 & then the G-2 comic issue #1 started off as.

I suspose it would be kinda cool to see the Marvel TF G-2 comic continued from issue #13 onwards

Yeah, G2 #13 would be cool but Furman has already said that he's retconning 1-12 with 81 so that's reason number 1 why this sucks. Plus I really don't think Furman can handle trying to end issue 100 to match up with GI Joe 138. If the IDW BW comic proved anything it's that he's not a good enough writer to pull off shoehorning stories into an existing continuity.
