I saw this and I am going! I never got to see this on the big screen, so it's great to have the opportunity. September 27 is the date.

The AUTOBOTS, led by the heroic OPTIMUS PRIME, prepare to make a daring attempt to retake their planet from the evil forces of MEGATRON and the DECEPTICONS. Unknown to both sides, a menacing force is heading their way – UNICRON. Will the AUTOBOTS be able to save their native planet from destruction or will the DECEPTICONS reign supreme?

I always spot details that I never noticed before when I'm able to watch this on the big screen, such as the Dinobots in the weapon construction factory during that first scene after the opening credits. There's just so much detail in some parts of this movie that it's hard to catch it all as it flies by. And it's fun to watch it with an audience who can quote some of the lines or who laughs at familiar character beats and scenes.

This time they had some stop motion skits using the SS86 figures before the movie began, and I noticed Gregg Berger and John Moschitta doing voices, and Stan Bush plays Jazz in one skit as he gets out of being killed in the movie by singing "You've got the Touch". The Sweeps argue with Scourge about whether Bombshell or Skywarp got turned into Cyclonus, and they wonder where that second Cyclonus went, because "we all saw him with our own eyes, and now he's nowhere to be found!" Good stuff.

The stop-motion skit sounds like it would have been worth the ticket price.

Agreed, I'm sorry I missed it.

LOL, no I'm not, I was in Disneyland on my honeymoon with my wife. I regret nothing. Sounds like it was cool though.
