Re: Intro and welcome thread

So, I had this spur of the moment impulse to see if TFviews still exists and I find this place still going strong. :D

Think it's been three years, at least, since I showed up here?

How's everybody been?

Re: Great TF molds, but ruined by limited poseabilty/engineer

Every time I think I finally can spare some time and brain space to get back to participating here, life pulls me back into the muck. So here’s my 2 cents on this thread before I vanish again… 1- Armada ….. Agreed on the first 3 on your list. Armada and Energon had quite a few decent molds, but on t...

Re: Universe2.0/Generations Review Thread

I'm likely to get all of them for the comics. Darn hard to get comics here without making a deliberate effort.

Which kinda sucks, because I'm more inclined to the Goldbug repaint for the Bumblebee mold and am probably gonna stash Bee in the drawer and just keep the comic.

Re: Other Robot Shows

how it's like a live-action Evangelion I always took that as an oversimplification. Eva influenced Japanese giant-robot anime on many levels since it was released, to the point that one can loosely argue that it's the pioneer of the modern giant-robot genre. And, Pacific Rim paid great homage to th...

Re: Newer TF "GO" Animation looks like Car Robots Animation.

Watched the first episode, which was only 12 minutes long, give or take. It's set in modern times, and the Samurai Team and their pet human had a momentary shared "vision" of a scene in the Sengoku era. Maybe they'll be transported back in later episodes? Who knows. Oh and, I bought the fi...

Re: Turn-based RPG knowledge/imagination/opinions desired

how much experience have you had in game (video or otherwise) development in general? Zero. I barely even play games anymore. No, I don't know why these people think I'd be an asset either. But let me clear something up: I'm not trying to develop a game. Not strictly. But there's a chance I'll be c...

Re: Turn-based RPG knowledge/imagination/opinions desired

*Lurk* Gomess, out of curiosity, how much experience have you had in game (video or otherwise) development in general? You’re looking at the creative effort as a synergistic whole. It’s not wrong, and can even produce great quality if done right, but it’s also not necessary in game development. As e...

Re: Comics are Awesome II

I haven't read any of the titles you guys are discussing, but simply from the perspective of good storytelling, I think I get where Sparky Prime's coming from. A universe reset may be the official event, but it doesn't constitute a direct cause-and-effect mechanic to explain the change in Carol Denv...

Re: November Hauls!

That said, it is good that AnnHell is back up and about. If you get the chance AH, I would not mind more detailed reviews of the Soundwave/Soundblaster and the disk troops. Specifically, how easily can they be broken down in to components? (I plan to get at least Soundwave and a few of the carded g...
